For the price this server can't be beat. I purchased this item to go with my cherry and satin nickel table and hutch. It blends in perfectly. I like that it could go with traditional or contemporary furnishings. It arrived fully assembled so that was a real plus. The two drawers are especially helpful. What I would have liked to see would be the wine rack and a slight angle to keep the corks moist. The way it is now, the back is lower than the front.
Bottom Line: Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
