The Buffet was shipped inside one large box. The unit was received with no damage. All assembly hardware and parts were included in the shipment. I assembled this buffet in approximately 90 minutes. Very good instructions were included. Some of the pieces are large and heavy. A second set of hands might prove beneficial as I assmebled it by myself. All in all this is a nice heavy piece of furniture. The actual color is about a shade darker than what's on the website. I would call it a medium-dark oak.

Much darker than pictured(dark oak), terrible instructions. took abot 2 hours to assemble. looks taller than pictured. except for the actual piece looking very different than the pic, it is a very beautiful looking item!
