I ordered 6 chairs. They came in 3 boxes. The instructions for assembly are very good. The assembly is not hard but does take some time do to the number of pieces and gluing involved. It took me approximately 2 hours to assemble all 6 chairs. The chairs seem sturdy after assembly. They are slightly darker than pictures on the website.
